With a deep understanding of brand, culture, vision, and values, the Manager builds a marketing strategy that informs, inspires, motivates and engages our customers. You will be the primary point of contact for all strategic discussions related to the affiliate marketing channel and will leverage data to drive actionable decisions that informs and grows the business.

The role can be based in West Chester, PA or in St. Petersburg, FL and may require occasional travel to other offices.
What you’ll do;
Owns affiliate marketing strategy, leveraging data to drive actionable decisions that inform and grows the business

  • Manages a multi-million dollar budget and identifies areas of opportunity with the core publisher partners to grow and evolve our program
  • Communicates budget forecasts and significant changes and updates to Senior Marketing Manager & Account Director of the Business Unit.
  • Defines and owns holistic affiliate marketing strategy to meet/exceed program goals, such as new customer acquisition, moving current customers up the buying strata and revenue growth
  • Establishes, builds, and maintains relationships with current and new affiliates.
  • Negotiates larger, enterprise deals with critical publishers to help evolve our affiliate program
  • Researches and tests new business opportunities within the online marketing landscape
  • Communicates channel calendar to Senior Marketing Managers.
  • Monitors creative process to ensure that all messaging is aligned with brand standards
  • Additional projects that support acquisition and revenue growth, such as owned property and response funnel optimization, A/B testing and/or multi-variate testing, and user experience testing are also within the purview of the Affiliate Marketing Manager role
  • Liaison with Marketing Account Manager

Responsible for developing and analyzing detailed KPIs/reporting to support Affiliate Marketing objectives/goals

  • Works with Consumer Insights/Business Intelligence team to interpret metrics/results from various reporting tools, including marketing attribution, and proposes new direction/initiative to improve outcomes through ongoing testing
  • Provides statistical reports and analyses that are used in addressing issues that have a budgetary impact and are reviewed by the Sr. Online Marketing Manager and the Senior Executive Team weekly
  • Uses analysis to proactively make program optimizations and enhancements
  • Reports on goals progress, forecasts, results and challenges
  • Ensures teams’ usage and tracking of consistent KPIs and definitions
  • Presents results to senior management in monthly and quarterly meetings

Responsible for daily management of 3rd party partners and Affiliate Marketing team, including Specialist and Coordinator

  • Manages Affiliate Marketing Specialists and Coordinators to develop and execute marketing plans with partners to meet program objectives
  • Partners with affiliate network party to stay informed of industry trends and best practices
  • Serves as primary contact for internal teams including legal, consumer insights/business intelligence, eCommerce, creative, etc.
  • Owns bi-weekly vendor meetings, QBR, and all long-term strategic planning sessions
  • Point person for all contracts and IT upgrades and updates for 3rd party vendors

What you’ll need:

  • BA/BS in marketing, communications, e-commerce, merchandising or related field; or equivalent experience required
  • 7+ years’ experience in online marketing, specifically affiliate marketing, e-commerce or relationship marketing; Affiliate marketing or other digital marketing experience is a must
  • Experience with tools such as Commission Junction, Google Affiliate Network, Share-A-Sale or Linkshare
  • Experience with attribution tools (ClearSaleing, Convertro, Adometry) with little guidance or direction
  • Excellent analytical skills, including proficiency in using web analytic tools (Google Analytics, Omniture, Coremetrics)
  • Experience managing multi-million dollar marketing budgets and working with multiple publishers
  • Position requires a highly detail-oriented and proactive individual driven by results which can manage multiple projects, tasks, and people in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent project management and organizational/time management skills with specific attention to detail
  • Ability to work cross-functionally within the online marketing team as well as within eMarketing as part of the Customer Contact Strategy
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to articulate clearly and effectively over the phone, through email, and in writing; Must be an active team player within a cross-functional team
