Senior Front End Developer/Designer – Plymouth Meeting, PA
If you’re a developer with a drive for pushing technological boundaries and creating powerful user experiences, we’d like to speak with you. Our creative department is looking for a Front End Developer who’s ready to jump onto our team of strategists, designers, and writers to collaborate closely on digital projects and build beautiful, functional solutions for our clients.
As part of our team, you’ll lead the architecture, development, testing, and troubleshooting of sites and web applications that meet our clients’ requirements — and bring the agency’s concepts to life. Driven by data, analytics, and W3C standards, you’ll leverage expertise in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 to solve practical and creative challenges every day.
We’re expecting applicants to set a strong standard:

  • Build modern, interactive websites, microsites, landing pages, interactive tools, emails, & other digital marketing assets using HTML, CSS (including SASS and SCSS), JavaScript, PHP, and UI frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap, jQuery, Angular, React, Node, Foundation), as well as the ability to navigate other coding languages
  • Understanding and ability to meet usability and accessibility standards
  • Experience with open-source and enterprise CMS applications (especially WordPress), customizing system preferences and building custom CMS applications
  • Familiarity with sandbox/development/production server environments and the ability to set up new testing environments
  • Understanding of BEM methodology and modular class structure
  • Ability to work within client development teams and processes, server environments, and development platforms
  • Develop landing pages/microsites/email within marketing automation platforms (Hubspot, Marketo, Pardot, Eloqua, etc.), and integrate disparate platforms and functionalities
  • Set and manage budgetary, timing, and feasibility expectations for all projects, both within creative and between agency departments
  • Fully test and troubleshoot work, ensuring consistently error-free, high-quality results
  • Contribute to and vet UI/UX design and strategy work, especially from a technology-focused perspective
  • Collaborate with design/strategy/UX practitioners to generate meaningful artifacts and deliverables for internal and client review: IA and sitemaps, wireframes, functional prototypes
  • Design/utilize testing methods/rubrics that validate design and marketing strategy, iterate to improve and maximize results
  • Provide consultation/review to ensure our marketing strategy and tactics are making full use/the best use of current and emerging technology and practices
  • Experience with Github and code package management/version control
  • Agency experience is a considerable plus
