Digital Marketing Analyst
The Role: The Digital Marketing Analyst (DMA) will work closely with the Vice President, Digital Integration to analyze digital campaign performance and improve marketing strategy. The DMA must have experience evaluating campaign success as it relates to client goals, KPIs and ROI. The DMA will work closely with the Digital Media team and collaborate closely with all Media, Interactive, Creative, and Account Management teams.

Core and Cross-Agency Accountabilities

  • Analyze customer data, provide insights and recommendations on marketing initiatives.
  • Create cross-media reports, including data trends, insights and recommendations for media and UX optimizations.
  • Monitor and analyze effectiveness of media through funnel performance, site changes and website optimizations.
  • Analyze and optimize ROI on cross-platform, cross-device and cross-channel digital marketing campaigns (digital, interactive, social, etc.) to help drive strategy on client marketing initiatives.
  • Assist in communicating analysis, test results and resulting recommendations to clients through presentations and client calls.
  • Measure KPI metrics and marketing channel effectiveness for improvement on a regular basis.
  • Use audience segmentation tools to better understand, quantify and optimize customer targeting.
  • Clearly articulate campaign insights and recommendations to team members and clients with varying levels of digital expertise
  • Help develop and set business requirements for enhanced digital reporting dashboards.
  • Integrate strategies between active marketing channels such as SEM, Display Advertising, Interactive, Content, Media and Social Media.
  • Develop visualizations into campaign performance relative to KPIs, projections and historical campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with interactive developers to implement data collection tags and analytics tools.
  • Cultivate a test/learn environment through testing (A/B and Multivariate) with ad copy, landing pages, bidding strategies, creative, etc.
  • Be an expert in the industry, understand new developments and create expansion roadmaps, working with cross-functional teams to develop relevant marketing campaign strategies.

  • 3-5 years in related experience
  • BS/BA or equivalent education in related field.
  • Required platforms: Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Bing, DCM, Facebook, Google Tag Manager.
  • Other platforms: Instagram, knowledge of ESPs, Hubspot, Webtrends, Yahoo, Amazon, various DSPs.
  • Clear understanding of both B2C/B2B digital marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to work effectively with 3rd party marketing vendors, contractors and colleagues.
  • Experience with tag management is required.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, written, verbal, presentation and project management skills highly desirable.
  • Expert level experience working with Excel functions such as formulas, macros, etc.
  • Experience working with SEO software, such as Moz, is a plus.
  • Statistical modeling experience is a plus.
