Our client is seeking a data-loving individual to be our Digital Media Analyst. The Digital Analyst will be tasked to:
 
DEVELOP
 
Key lead on online and offline marketing analytics efforts – with direct report to the VP of Digital Media and in strong coordination with other media and strategy teams
Advance and refine analytics dashboards to encompass data from all digital marketing channels and client data
 
ANALYZE
 
Analyze data to determine the most valuable opportunities to improve campaign performance
Work with multiple data sources/reports (site metrics, campaign/channel reports, traffic and conversion reports) to analyze campaign performance and make recommendations for improvements
Experience working with integrating data (from multiple sources and platforms) would be a plus.
 
REPORT
 
Build, manage and continually enhance campaign reporting that allows us and our clients to understand the trends on client campaigns
Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports for clients, including ability to recognize and troubleshoot data anomalies
 
TAG
 
Must be proficient in tagging and tag management systems. A technical background would be highly desired. Experience working with housing data or working with a system to tag websites appropriately in order to setup data connections.
 
PRESENT
 
Develop and deliver engaging presentations that summarize complex analysis and inform business decisions
Communicate analytic findings and actionable recommendations in a manner tailored to internal and external audiences
 
LEARN
 
Maintain an understanding of industry trends, research and emerging tools
 
TEACH
 
Educate team on best practices and proper use of digital data and analytics to help make informed decisions
 
 
REQUIREMENTS
 
Strong understanding of various statistical and quantitative analysis techniques
Ability to articulate data and strategies to an audience with varying degrees of marketing or analytics knowledge
Detail Oriented and must have the ability to evaluate the data and challenge the accuracy of data rather than taking it at face value
Strong process and methodology orientation
Strong problem solving skills
Skillful communication (written and verbal)
Ability to deal with issues resolution and escalation
Robust organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
 
2-4 years of experience in measuring the success of online advertising, paid search and/or other digital programs
 
Agency experience preferred, though not required
 
Background in statistics and statistical modeling techniques a plus, but not required
 
Expert knowledge of Google Analytics and other Google media platforms, website analytics or other online analytics tools a must
 
- Google Analytics Certification is not required, but would be ideal
Fluent in advanced Excel and PowerPoint
 
Deep Understanding of Media Platforms and 3rd Party Tools (Google AdWords, DoubleClick, Bing Ads, Twitter, Mongoose Metrics, Facebook, etc.)
 
Deep understanding of digital marketing KPIs and ability to translate them into strategic insights
 
A passion for data, an analytical mindset, and results-focused nature
 
Ability to think creatively and present innovative solutions to analytical challenges
