Award winning digital marketing agency has an immediate need for a SEM/PPC & Digital Media Manager. The SEM/PPC & Digital Media Manager is responsible for developing paid media strategies within Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Paid Social (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIN) and other paid media platforms.
As part of the growing Search Department the ideal candidate will also be responsible for building relationships and leading strategy and analysis discussions with clients. This is a client facing role that requires account management skills and attention to detail.
This role additionally supports all aspects of paid campaigns, from strategy development, implementation, optimization, to reporting and analysis. This candidate should have 2+ years of hands-on experience managing paid search campaigns in excess of $10k per month in an agency setting or in-house. Most importantly, we need a positive personality willing to contribute in a team setting and have the drive to learn and grow with the agency.
- Manage a growing roster of Paid Search clients
- Develop ongoing strategies that align with our clients’ overall goals
- Assist sales team in selling Paid Search offering into existing clients and new prospects
Strategize, implement, manage and optimize PPC campaigns
Research keywords; develop and structure new ad groups and lists; conduct analysis
Extract campaign performance insights and produce thoughtful client reports
- Traffic display media through DoubleClick and DFP
- Manage DoubleClick Search, 3rd Party Ad Networks and vendor relationships
Manage media budgets and spend
- Interface with client contacts to collaboratively drive success
Required Skills & Qualifications
2+ years of hands on PPC/Paid Search management experience with Google, Yahoo/Bing
o Complete mastery of Google Adwords; proficiency with Google AdWords Editor
- Extensive Google Analytics experience; ability to quickly learn and integrate new features/functions
Solid understanding of PPC best practices and key principles including but not limited to:
o Optimizing for different networks and platforms
o Bid management, quality score and ad position
o Utilizing multivariate testing to determine best call to action in ad copy
o Optimization down to the keyword, ad, and managed placement level
o Cost-per-lead and cost-per-sale optimization with a strong focus on conversion metrics to drive increased campaign ROI
History of managing large e-commerce campaigns
- Client management acumen
Experience with bid management tools such as Kenshoo, Acquisio and Marin (Nice to have, not a requirement)
Experience with 3rd party SEM tools
- SEO understanding and drive to learn/expand upon current knowledge
