Technical SEO Analyst/Strategist
Award winning digital marketing agency has an immediate need for Technical SEO Analyst/Strategist with capabilities in on/off site organic SEO, JS/CSS (Page Load), CMS optimizations, HTML/PHP/ASP/.NET as well as other functionalities. The Technical SEO Analyst/Strategist is responsible for audits, client facing recommendations & consulting, developing and executing against for the agencies clients to deliver results in the form of increased ROI, meeting and exceeding KPIs as well as overall client retention.
As part of the growing Search Department the ideal candidate will also be responsible for building relationships and leading strategy and analysis discussions with clients. This is a client-facing role that requires account management skills and attention to detail.
The candidate should have 1+ years of hands-on experience managing technical SEO efforts in an agency setting. Most importantly, we need a positive personality willing to contribute in a team setting and have the drive to learn and grow with the agency.
On-site technical coding including URL structure, meta tags, structured data, etc.
Keyword research and competitive analysis
Detailed account analysis presented to clients through weekly or monthly reporting
Keeping current with industry changes and information, specifically SE algorithms and Google best practices
Being the expert resource for the Search team in identifying methods to improve performance and enhance positioning
Identifying new opportunities for clients to enhance their SEO discovered through regular audits, analysis, and monitoring
Manage day-to-day relationships with multiple clients
1+ years of hands on SEO management
Working knowledge of HTML/CSS basics
Intermediate to advanced experience using Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager
Should be proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Experience working in a client-facing position – should be comfortable communicating with clients via email, over the phone, and in person
Solid grasp of the digital marketing landscape, not limited to local presence, on-site content, off-site content, citations, YouTube and more
Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills, demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, and show strong attention to detail
Must have the ability to multi task and effectively communicate status to team members
UX/UI design experience, web design experience, and experience with Adobe design software (e.g. Photoshop) are not required, but preferred
